Bob was born and raised in rural Rush County, Indiana. He attended Indiana University-Bloomington from 1962 to 1966 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Business in Management / Administration in 1966.
Bob then served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968, with a tour of duty in South Vietnam, and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. After service in the U.S. Army, he attended Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington and upon graduation received a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree in 1971. He has been admitted to practice in Indiana by the Supreme Court of Indiana since 1971. He is admitted to practice before all Indiana State and Federal Court and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1982. He has been an active or sustaining member of many professional organizations including the American Trial Lawyers Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association, Allen County Indiana Bar Association, was a Charter Member of the American Board of Trial Advocates-Indiana, is appointed to the Panel of Arbitrators by the American Arbitration Association, and is a past Chairman of the Allen County Law Library Association. He has extensive trial experience in the field of Professional Malpractice including the areas of medical, legal and accounting malpractice, Personal Injury, Commercial and Construction claims, Dissolution of Marriage and related matters, as well as extensive experience in working with business organizations, including Sub-Chapter S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Partnerships and Proprietorships, their formation and ongoing legal support and counseling. Before forming the firm of Benson, Pantello, Morris, James & Logan (1983), Bob was a partner in the former firms of Torborg, Miller, Moss, Harris and Sowers (1971-1977) and Sowers and Benson (1978-1983). |

Mark S. Pantello
Mark is a Fort Wayne native and Bishop Dwenger High School alumnus (1972). In 1976 he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University. First employed as an accountant/auditor with Arthur Anderson & Company he returned to Indiana University for his Juris Doctor degree which he received in 1980. He started his practice of law as an associate with the firm of Sowers and Benson, and then, since 1983, as a partner with Benson, Pantello, Morris, James & Logan.
Admitted to practice before all Indiana State and Federal courts, Mark belongs to many area and national Bar and trial lawyer organizations. His law practice is focused in personal injury, civil trial practice, including automobile collisions, head trauma cases, legal malpractice and medical malpractice. |

Jack E. Morris
Jack is another Fort Wayne native (Southside 1973). He obtained an Associate of Arts degree from Cumberland College in 1975 and a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 from Ball State University. He went on to obtain a J.D. degree from Indiana University in 1980. He is an active or sustaining member of local, state and national professional trial organizations. He is and has been engaged in a variety of charitable and social organizations, including serving as President of the Downtown Optimist's Club, President of the Three Rivers Handball Club, Chairman of the Arlington Park Golf Committee, and Board of Trustees of the Leukemia Society of America.
A sole practitioner until August of 1981, Jack first joined the firm of Sowers and Benson before founding Benson, Pantello, Morris & James. While he engages in general civil trial practice, Jack primarily handles cases involving injuries to individuals from automobile collisions, work accidents and medical negligence. |

Ronald E. James
Ron graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1972 and attended St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with minors in History and Sociology, from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1976. He obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington in 1979, earning an American Jurisprudence Award for his study of Contracts.
Returning to Fort Wayne in 1979, Ron served a one year term as a law clerk for the Judges of the Allen Superior Court. Along with his training as a litigator and advocate, he is a certified mediator. He is a current member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Indiana Trial Lawyers, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Allen County Bar Association. He is currently an officer or on the Board of Directors of several environmental groups. One of the original founders of the Firm, Ron maintains a broadbased general civil and litigation practice with emphasis in estate planning, wills, probate contests, personal injury, business development, rental housing law and contracts. |

Timothy Logan
Tim, also a Fort Wayne native, graduated from Bishop Luers High School in 1977. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where he majored in accounting and interned with Abbott Laboratory in North Chicago, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1981. Tim graduated from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis. In 1987 he returned to Fort Wayne and became the Firm's fifth partner in 1992. Tim's civil trial law practice is concentrated in the areas of family law, commercial litigation, and business associations.

John Clifton
John, a Fort Wayne native, graduated from Homestead High School in 1981. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, where he majored in Political Science. John graduated from Ohio Northern University's School of Law. In 1990, John worked in the Allen County Prosecutor's Office for two (2) years. He then went to Indianapolis and worked in the Indiana Attorney General's Office in the Tort Litigation Section. In 1994, John returned to Fort Wayne and worked in private practice for six (6) years until he joined Benson, Pantello, Morris, James & Logan in 2000.
John's civil trial law practice is concentrated in the areas of family law and personal injury. John is a certified family law mediator. John also practices criminal law, including traffic, misdemeanor and felony cases. |
